 Aggregation

The SINGLEstream™ 1214LX-10G can combine data from up to five single mode Gigabit network segments into one or more streams of data. Connected 10 Gigabit monitoring devices can receive aggregated data from multiple network segments with just one network interface card (NIC) each. Any of the configurable 10 Gigabit Ports can also be set to receive data from SPAN ports.

Regeneration

With a total of four (4) configurable ports, the SS-1214LX-10G can be configured to have multiple monitoring ports to allow connected devices to receive multiple copies of the same data stream. Allowing multiple monitoring and analysis devices to collect data from the same network segments at the same time, eliminates contention for SPAN ports.

Port Steering

The Any-to Any port architecture of the SS-1214LX-10G, allows you to send traffic from any network port to any monitoring port, eliminating the need for network personnel to manage or change complex configurations of SPAN ports or move tools around their network.

  • 24X7 access point for network monitoring and security tools
  • Passive taps are 100% fault tolerant and won’t break the link even if power is lost to the device
  • “Any-to-Any” architecture can send traffic from any network port to any monitoring port, while XFP ports can be configured as monitoring ports or accept input from SPAN
  • “Many-to-Any” architecture combines traffic from multiple ports, providing visibility into multiple network connections
  • “One-to-Many” architecture allows you to send multiple copies of data from the input port to multiple monitoring devices
  • Hot swapable dual redundant load balanced power supplies
  • Hot swappable management card compatible with filtering
  • 9 micron
  • Fully RoHS Compliant
